Notes Parallels to A:TLADo you guys remember how people used to call Makorra - Zutara 2.0?
Why? Because of waterbender-firebender relationship! BUT.
But Zutara isn’t about water-fire. Look - Zuko was a douchebag that only wanted to catch the Avatar, and to do that he used Katara’s necklace et cetera. Jerk. But then he changed and wasn’t a jerk anymore. (also, he had lost all that was important for him: right to the throne, father’s love…)
Makorra isn’t Zutara 2.0. If you really need to look for Zutara 2.0 then it’s Tahnorra!
Because Tahno was a douchebag and only wanted to win the championships and be glorified - and to win, he cheated. But then he lost something that was probably the most important for him - his bending. And in The Aftermath we can clearly see he’s a different person!
